Wash & Wax Service

Improving Your Vehicle’s Appearance with a Simple Solution.

It’s important to apply a level of protection once every quarter (4 times per year - before every season change) to your paint’s finish.
This will help protect your investment!

Our wash & wax includes our clay bar service. This removes all contamination and makes your paint smooth and shiny! After your vehicle is completely dry, we’ll apply a sealant which will protect your paint for up to 6 months. Not only will you see a big difference in the appearance, but you’ll be able to feel the smoothness and slickness of the paint once we’re done with your vehicle. Applying frequent protection will extend the life and shine of your vehicles’ exterior.

If you wait too long however, UV rays along with other elements can start burning/peeling your clear coat giving your car a dull, rough, and white look. If your vehicle sits outside for the majority of the time while unprotected, the life of the clear coat can diminish rapidly.

Another important factor is the type of soap being used to wash a vehicle. Utilizing dish soap will strip away any wax/sealant/ceramic coating protecting your clear coat. Once your clear coat has burned/peeled off, there’s nothing we can do about it. Your only option moving forward at that point is to repaint your vehicle.

Our Wash & Wax Process

  1. Clean tires, wheels, and fenders with different brushes to reach tight areas.
  2. Rinse vehicle utilizing deionized water (prevents hard water spots).
  3. Apply soap with foam cannon to the entire exterior of the vehicle.
  4. Wash vehicle in straight lines from top to bottom by dividing the car into 3 sections (top, middle, bottom). We also clean the gas cap, door jambs, and remove bugs off from the front of your vehicle (including side mirrors).
  5. Clay bar your paint to remove any stubborn contaminants (makes your paint feel really smooth).
  6. Rinse vehicle to remove any soap.
  7. Dry vehicle using a soft premium microfiber towel and air blow to remove water out of cracks/crevices, emblems, and wheels.
  8. Apply a layer of wax or sealant to all paint surfaces by hand for shine and protection (up to 6-month paint protection).
  9. Clean exterior glass and windows.
  10. Apply tire dressing to make them shine (they’ll be dry to avoid slinging).
  11. Clean up emblems, exhaust tips, grille, etc.
  12. Final Inspection in case we missed a spot there’s room for Improvement.

If you would like to see a complete revamp of your vehicle, we recommend our Interior Rejuvenation service in addition to our Wash & Wax. Your interior will be cleaned to the best condition possible. With both services combined, the exterior and interior of your car will look incredible!

Wash & Wax FAQ

Do you come to me?

We come to you! We take everything we need in order to get the job done. We can perform your wash & wax at your residence or work location. No need to worry about traffic, determining if you’ll have time to eat while on lunch break, or taking any time off from the things that are important to you.

Does this remove scratches from my paint?

No, our wax or sealant will not remove nor hide any scratches. If you’re looking for us to remove any scratches, please take a look at our Paint Correction service.

What kind of wax do you use?

We use Shine Supply’s Cherry Silica Wax or Gtechniq (sealant). The wax/sealant will last up to 6 months

How long does the wash & wax process take?

It depends on the size and condition of the vehicle, but on average it takes around 2-3 hours.

Do you need access to water or power?

We do not need to access water as we carry our own deionized water (prevents hard water spots). We bring our own inverter along with us, but it can get a little loud. We would of course prefer to keep the noise level down for both you and your neighbors, so we ask if it’s possible to connect to your electrical outlet. If not, no worries, we’ll use our inverter. The most important thing is that we have access to your vehicle and enough room to work comfortably and safely.

Will this remove any hard water spots from my paint?

It depends. If the water spots have been recently installed, the hard water spots will come off. If the water spots have been sitting on your paint for a very long time, most likely it won’t. This is due to the mineral deposits in the water. If the hard water spots have sat on your paint for a long time, the only way to remove these stubborn spots is through our Paint Correction service.

Do you wash your mitts and towels?

Yes, we do! After every use, we wash and dry our mitts and microfiber towels. Before we store our mitts and microfiber towels, we inspect them thoroughly to make sure there isn’t any debris stuck in the fibers. Last thing we want to do is scratch your paint!
